Southern California Surf Forecast (San Diego)

Not a bad weekend, what a bonus that South swell was, better than anticipated is always a treat!

La Jolla Surf Forecast conditions updated every Sunday.
Monday

May 05    (WH)

For Monday we'll have fading South good for a few inconsistent chest high sets.  To keep things fun we'll also have some new NWWS in the waist high range.  Look for a lower tide that will be coming up in the AM with Southerly winds that will turn on-shore mid morning.

Tuesday

May 06    (TH+)

For Tuesday hit the replay button, but subtract all the best ways you had on Monday.
Wednesday

May 07    (WH+)

Wednesday we'll see similar eddy conditions, but we should see some rising NWWS.  Look for mostly waist high surf with a few plus sets.
Thursday

May 08    (CH)

Thursday, at least as of now may be shaping up as the best surf day of the week.  Our NWWS should peak with chest high surf.  Similar eddy conditions, but we should have a bit more sun than we saw the first few days of the week.
Friday

May 09    (CH-)

Friday we'll have leftover NWWS in the waist to chest high range with more sun than previous days.
Next Weekend

May 10-11 (WH)

For Mother's day weekend we shouldn't have a whole lot of surf.  Look for mostly leftover waist high NWWS on Saturday with a meager and steep South that could be good for some waist high+ real inconsistent sets.  On Sunday we're not expecting much of a change, but enjoy the week anyways!
