Slater wins!!!  The Boost Mobile Pro was held on September 18th, 2005 at Lower Trestles.  Slater pulled past Phil MacDonald in the finals to win the event.  Lower Trestles (Lowers) is an amazing place, many would say it is the best wave in Southern California.  Walk down the path and look South, there it is doing its thing.  Lowers is like a magnet picking up any blimp of Southerly swell in the water then pulling in its energy and releasing perfect A frames over the cobble stone bottom.  Sounds great but if you go to surf a South swell at Trestles, be ready its an aggressive line up.
