The DR Surf Classic is always a good time for fun.  The 8th annual was no different, another fun blow-out down at La Fonda with small surf and lots of booze.  The 2005 DR surf classic was held just 58 KM South of the border on the bluff at La Fonda.  Unfortunately again the waves were meager and the water was freezing.  The price of the campsite increased quite a bit, but it looked like they were adding a few new bars to the area.  Who's in for next year?  Rumor has it if we get skunked on the surf again, the classic will be moving to the South Pacific in Bali.
