Surfing in Munich?  Germany's finest river surfing.   Some of the crew locked into several Bavarian pints in Munich, the capitol of Bavaria nestled on the Isar River.  To refresh from several hours spent eating sausage & drinking at the Hofbräuhaus they hit the local river to refresh.  Surfing in Munich or should I say river surfing in Munich is really accessible and lots of fun.  Remember to bring your wetsuit, booties, and gloves, usually when the river is running the water is pretty cold.  River surfing in Germany was impressive and the local surfers in Munich ripped.  So the next time you head to Germany, before you grab a pint & pork knuckle get a quick surf in, as always respect the locals.                                                   April 20th, 2005
