Boost Mobile or Sprint sponsored the 6th leg of the Fosters ASP World Tour in 2007.  On Saturday Sept 15th, the best heat of the contest came from two veteran surfing icons.  Kelly Slater & Carlsbad local Taylor Knox.  The heat began just after a fog bank had taken over the coast & some texture came up on Lower Trestles.  After one wave, clean overhead sets started coming in & did not stop while the two battled it out, although Taylor Knox had a perfect 10, it was not enough to hold Kelly back from winning.
