A five day strike to catch surf in Mainland Mexico started early Thursday morning.  We were off to Colima & Michoacán to find  barrels & warm water.  Downtown Colima, is where we found our rig, we stacked the red suburban with boards & headed to the Coast.  The first night was spent in Cuyutlan at the Fenix hotel.  Within minutes we completely forget about the daily grind and Cuyutlan is less than a half hour to the pounding surf at Pascuales.  We surfed Pascuales in the morning, it was sick with well overhead clean explosive barrels, what we thought we were looking for.  On the way back to Cuyutlan, to meet up with the rest of the crew, we stopped off at the Paraiso & scored some perfect, less intense clean head high drainers.  Continued page 2
