During the dog days of summer at your local surf spot know that
World class surfing is waiting for you in Southern Bali. From LAX, fly
Singapore airlines (best airline) to Singapore, Bali is only a 3 hour flight
from Singapore. Usually your hotel will set up transport for you at
the airport. Rest assured that your plane trip will be smooth and
relaxing as many
bali flights are usually organized. I suggest that you take the cab if
it’s your first time and you’re not familiar with the directions. I wouldn't bother trying to rent a car, the roads are
crazy. You can hire someone with local knowledge of surf breaks,
restaurants, and transportation to drive you all around in Bali, it is cheap
and worth it, usually you'll make a friend. There is a World of things
